Columbidae - Pigeons

The shot from my morning walk to the office. Pigeons feeding to the grains( fed by one of the shopkeeper in Thimphu town). I just had to disturb their breakfast time and make them fly to take this shot. But they were back for it after few seconds fly. :)

Visit to Sri Aurobindo Ashram

On 25th March 2015, i made a visit to +Sri Aurobindo Ashram  in +Pondicherry , India.

It is such a calm and divine place where people from around the world come there to cleanse their mind. Though my stay there was for few hours, it had some effects on me and my friends. 

In the +Wekipedia: The Ashram, according to Sri Aurobindo, “has been created with another object than that ordinarily common to such institutions, not for the renunciation of the world but as a center and a field of practice for the evolution of another kind and form of life which would in the final end be moved by a higher spiritual consciousness and embody a greater life of the spirit.”

The practice of Integral Yoga, Sri Aurobindo explained, ”does not proceed through any set mental teaching or prescribed forms of +Meditation , +Mantras  or others, but by aspiration, by a self-concentration inwards or upwards, by self-opening to an Influence, to the Divine Power above us and its workings, to the Divine Presence in the heart, and by the rejection of all that is foreign to these things.

If you ever visit southern part of India, never miss this divine place. I still wanna go back once again and practice the eternal yoga there.

When i reached this little hill top under the snow caped mountain surrounded with evergreen pine forest, there was a school where this little kids go to get their education. I heard the bell ringing and a rush of those little feet to dinning area. Hmm it was lunch break!. I couldn't help but to visit them and have a wonderful lunch with them. But at the cost. I was asked to take their picture and i did. Those innocent face, and cute looks reminded of my school days decades ago. Sure lots have changed and for good. There are lots to see and get going, so i took their leave.  I still recall their shy smiles.
